Petrobras extends Wilson Sons platform supply vessel charters

RIO DE JANEIROPetrobras has extended the charter contracts of three Wilson Sons Ultratug Offshore platform supply vessels (PSV).

Hired in 2011, the PSVs 3000 Saveiros Albatroz, Saveiros Fragata, and Saveiros Gaivota will continue working for the national oil company for two years.

Wilson Sons Ultratug Offshore said it now has 21 charter agreements with the state. Among them are two PSVs 4500 hired in the sixth round of Prorefam. Operational start-up is scheduled for May 2017. According to Wilson Sons, which has a 50% interest in Wilson Sons Ultratug Offshore, these two support vessels will already be delivered next year.
