Offshore UAE gas field close to start-up

SHARJAH, UAE – Dana Gas expects first production before year-end from its Zora gas field development offshore the United Arab Emirates.

The production well has been completed and cleaned up. All construction works for the related onshore reception plant are also finished with pre-commissioning and commissioning works now in progress.

At peak, Zora is expected to have a production capacity of around 40 MMcf/d of gas (6,650 boe/d).
