Offshore staff

STAVANGER, NorwayOcean Installer has signed an amendment of a contract with Statoil for riser replacement operations at the Troll C field in the North Sea.

This provides options for additional work at the Vigdis field, including flexible jumper operations.

At Troll C, the work scope includes recovery and installation of an oil export riser and two production risers. The program will involve subsea and topsides disconnections and removal of existing risers, and subsea tie-in/topsides pull-in of new risers.

Ocean Installer will deploy the construction support vessel Normand Vision for the campaign, due to take place next spring and summer.
