TOKYOINPEX has established a domestic exploratory drilling operations office in Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture.

This will manage the Heisei 26~28 domestic offshore drilling program in Japan, commissioned earlier this year by the Agency of Natural Resources and Energy of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.

INPEX is continuing preparations ahead of the start of exploratory drilling offshore Yamaguchi and Shimane prefectures in May 2016.

A supplementary team at the company’s Tokyo head office will support these operations.
