Inchcape to assist Barreirinhas 3D seismic campaign offshore Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO – Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) will support CGG’s multi-client 3D seismic survey in the Barreirinhas basin offshore northern Brazil.

CGG’s Oceanic Vega will acquire 14,500 sq km (5,598 sq mi) of data for the regional broadband survey, the first over the basin. ISS will provide a range of services including port agency, crew transfer, visa assistance, and cargo duties.

Data will be processed and analyzed at CGG’s subsurface imaging center in Rio de Janeiro.
