Atlantic looks to scale back UK North Sea interests

TORSHAVN, Faroe IslandsAtlantic Petroleum says its net share of production in November from the Chestnut, Ettrick, and Blackbird fields in the UK central North Sea totaled 37,000 boe.

This was lower than in October and reflects the company’s decision to go into default on Ettrick and Blackbird. Atlantic is looking to exit both fields due to mounting financial difficulties.
