Offshore staff

SINGAPORE – Sembcorp Marine Rigs and Floaters will design and build a new floating, storage, and offloading (FSO) vessel for Maersk Oil’s Culzean field in the UK central North Sea.

MODEC Offshore Production Systems (Singapore) has commissioned the FSO on Maersk’s behalf. It is due to be delivered in early 2018.

This is the Sembcorp Marine subsidiary’s first newbuild FSO secured on a full turnkey project basis including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

MODEC will supply the internal turret and topsides modules, including a vapor recovery unit and metering skid, which Sembcorp Marine will install and integrate.
