Quadrant spuds Roc-1 well offshore Australia

PERTH, Australia – The Quadrant Energy-operated Roc-1 exploration well is under way in the WA-27-P permit offshore Western Australia.

According to partner Carnarvon Petroleum, the well should take 35-40 days to reach the planned TD of 4,700 m (15,420 ft).

In the event of a success, the partners plan five to 10 days of well logging and sidewall coring.
