Fugro assesses offshore conditions at Equatorial Guinea FLNG site

LEIDSCHENDAM, the Netherlands – Ophir Energy has contracted Fugro to provide survey services for planned FLNG facilities and associated infrastructure for the Fortuna project in block R offshore Equatorial Guinea.

Three vessels – Fugro Searcher, Fugro Scout, and Fugro Frontier – will perform autonomous underwater vehicle surveys and geotechnical, environmental, and metocean studies.

Fortuna is west of Bioko Island. Offshore operations are expected to be completed in January.
