EMGS picks up job offshore India

TRONDHEIM, NorwayElectromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has signed a letter of award with a repeat customer to work offshore India in a deal worth about $15.3 million.

The survey, which is located off the eastern coast of India, is expected to start in early January 2016 by the vessel BOA Thalassa. The acquisition phase is estimated to last two months.

The gross contract value includes approximately 14% service tax.

According to the company’s recently released utilization report, BOA Thalassa is working off Malaysia on a contract extension.
