Offshore staff

GENOA, ItalyD’Appolonia has completed nearshore site investigation for Eni’s Mozambique LNG project, the first on the coast of East Africa.

The survey involved environmental, geophysical and geotechnical teams, using two jackup platforms, three survey spreads, and a mobile field laboratory.

Resultant data will assist design of the marine facilities of the terminal and the landfall for the gas pipeline arriving from the offshore wells. The terminal will feature gas receiving, processing and liquefaction facilities, cryogenic storage tanks and load-out facilities to export the liquefied gas via tankers.

D’Appolonia is also acting as the independent environmental and social consultant for development of the offshore production facilities, subsea gas pipelines, and onshore LNG processing facilities.
