The German company will provide service and maintenance for nine aero-derivative gas turbines for the Dolphin gas project in Qatar. These have been supplied by Rolls-Royce Energy, with Dresser-Rand providing the nine related compressors.

The project involves production, processing, and transportation of natural gas from the giant North Field offshore Qatar. Dolphin Energy’s main shareholder is Mubadala Development in Abu Dhabi (51%), the remaining percentages held equally by Total and Occidental.
