Proserv equipment to provide controls for Johan Sverdrup wells

STAVANGER, NorwayAibel has commissioned Proserv to provide topsides control equipment for the new Johan Sverdrup drilling platform in the central Norwegian North Sea.

Proserv will supply a hydraulic power unit (HPU) and three chemical injection panels servicing 80 injection lines. The panels will be configured to allow each line to be operated and monitored remotely for flow rate and pressure.

The work is due to be completed by next June. In addition, Proserv will supply a remote controlled cleaning system for hydraulic oil with the HPU.
