Petrobras moves for early release of Paragon Offshore drillship

HOUSTON Petrobras has given an early release to Paragon Offshore’s DPDS2 drillship. The original contract was into March 2017, and Paragon says the matter is in discussion with Petrobras.

Petrobras also is contesting about a year’s time on the drilling contract with Paragon’s DPDS3.

Elsewhere, Paragon says it plans to stack the M841 and M842 jackup rigs.
