Norway, Iran discuss offshore cooperation

TEHRAN, IranNorway has agreed to cooperate with Iran on offshore gas and oil projects.

This follows discussions between Saeid Hafezi, CEO of the Iranian Offshore Oil Co., and Aud Lise Norheim, Norway’s ambassador to Tehran.

According to news service Shana, the meeting was also attended by a representative from Norway’s standards body Intsok.

The ambassador reportedly expressed hope that competent Norwegian companies and investors can take part in Iranian projects.
