LONDON – Noble Corp. has secured two new drilling rig contracts and has extended another.

The semisubmersible Noble Danny Adkins goes from idle to a US Gulf of Mexico job in November for Talos, on a day rate of $206,000. The contract ends in mid-January 2016.

Total has extended its Noble Houston Colbert jackup rig contract in Argentina. The direct continuation starts in April 2016 and runs to June 2016. The extension day rate is lower at $175,000, down from the $243,000.

Total also has hired the jackup Noble Sam Hartley for three years at a day rate of $111,000. The rig is currently in the shipyard undergoing contract specific modifications and preparation. It will be deployed in Brunei and is expected to start drilling in January.
