Offshore staff

PERTH, Australia – Neptune Marine Services has been awarded a geophysical and light geotechnical survey services contract by Shell Australia Pty Ltd.

The work will commence in November and includes a site survey of the Crux gas field and a 160 km (100 mi) route survey between the Crux and Prelude gas fields, in water depths ranging from 90 m (295 ft) to 280 m (918 ft).

Neptune will collect high-resolution multi-beam echo sounder, side scan sonar, and sub-bottom profiler data on-board Mermaid Marine Australia’s offshore supply vessel, Mermaid Investigator.
