COPENHAGEN, Denmark A.P. Moeller-Maersk has invited a Danish parliament committee to visit one of its North Sea oil fields.

A Bloomberg report has it that members of the Business, Growth and Export Committee will take a two-day tour of certain facilities. The committee has not yet responded either way to the invitation.

Bloomberg also suggests that analysts at Nordea and Sydbank identify Maersk as a potential buyer of Dong Energy’s exploration and production holdings in the North Sea. Maersk, however, will not comment on the prospect.
