Lundin sells offshore Indonesia interests

STOCKHOLM, SwedenLundin Petroleum has agreed to sell its oil and gas interests in Indonesia to PT Medco Energi Internasional for $22 million.

These include operated interests in the offshore South Sokang and Cendrawasih VII blocks, and the joint study agreement for the Cendrawasih VIII block.

Additionally, Lundin Petroleum may be entitled to certain contingent payments and retains an option to receive a future interest in the Cendrawasih blocks.

Completion of the transaction remains subject to approval by Indonesia’s government.
