Ikon adds Python to RokDoc

HOUSTON – Ikon Science has expanded its RokDoc External Interface Module by adding a Python API to release 6.3.

Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level programming language that is meant to help users add new rock models, project goals, or reservoir types to RokDoc.

Plugin applications and rock models can run natively in Python, without the need for additional compilation steps or the writing of C wrappers. It also can also be used to develop proprietary links to in-house software tools or data management systems.
