Safe Astoria goes off-hire following Malampaya contract

Offshore staff

Prosafe says its accommodation rig Safe Astoria completed its contract at the offshore Malampaya complex with Shell Philippines early last month.

It is now located in Batam, Indonesia, undergoing minor works.

Conversion continues of the Safe Scandinavia to a tender support vessel at the Westcon yard in Ølensvåg, Norway. The vessel is due to start an assignment toward year-end for Statoil at Oseberg East in the Norwegian North Sea.

Another Prosafe accommodation rig, Jasminia, remains off-hire and is stationed offshore Mexico.
