Offshore staff

ABERDEEN, UK – Blue Stream Pipeline Co. B.V. has contracted Fugro to provide survey support vessels and survey services.

This is to support the 2015 external pipeline inspection for the offshore, shore approach, and dry section components of the Blue Stream gas pipeline system in the Black Sea.

The two 24-in. gas export pipelines, E1 and W2, extend from the Beregovaya gas compression station in Russia 235 mi (378 km) across the Black Sea, in water depths up to 2,150 m (7,054 ft), to the Durusu inlet terminal 40 mi (64 km) from Samsun, in Turkey.

In-field work has been completed in both areas and the reporting stage is under way.

The Fugro-owned Atlantis Dweller mobilized in Istanbul at the end of August and is currently performing external inspection of the offshore section.
