Erin Energy gets new offshore Ghana resources estimate

HOUSTON – Erin Energy Corp. (NYSE MKT:ERN) has completed the offshore Ghana Expanded Shallow Water Tano block resource assessment.

Operated by Erin Energy subsidiary Camac Energy Ghana Ltd., total discovered in-place oil and gas are estimated at 500 MMbbl and 282 bcf, respectively. Fourteen wells have been drilled in the fields and of those flow tested, rates ranged from 600 to 2,047 b/d of 15-32° API oil.

Erin currently is working with joint venture partners and the government to determine the commerciality of the fields.
