Wilcox to direct PETEX

AUSTIN, Texas – Coy Wilcox has been named director for the Petroleum Extension (PETEX), a component of the Texas Extended Campus at the University of Texas at Austin.

Wilcox’s role encompasses oversight of the Austin headquarters location and PETEX’s Learning and Assessment Center in Houston.

Before coming to PETEX, Wilcox served as the training, learning, and development manager for Nabors Drilling in the Middle East.

Prior to Nabors, Wilcox was a SERE Specialist with the Royal Saudi Air Force in Saudi Arabia and in the U.S. Air Force during his military service from 1990 to 1995. Wilcox is a graduate of Upper Iowa University and holds a B.S. in business administration and technology and information management.
