Vessel groups contract ABB for equipment maintenance

BADEN, Switzerland – ABB Turbocharging has signed long-term maintenance management agreements with DOF Group and Teekay. Terms include turbocharger monitoring, regular servicing, and preventive maintenance.

DOF Group owns and operates a fleet of 70 supply and subsea vessels, and Teekay is one of the world’s largest marine energy, transportation, storage, and production companies.

ABB will take full responsibility for planning and scheduling turbocharger servicing. Additionally, the agreement includes monitoring for early warning of upcoming service needs.
