US offshore rig count rises to 33

HOUSTON
The offshore US rig count has risen by two rigs to reach a total of 33, reports the Baker Hughes Inc. Weekly Rig Count. This is 29 rigs fewer year over year.

The total US rig count, however, dropped by four to 838. This is down 1,093 rigs year over year.

The total Canadian rig count for the week is down by six to 176 versus 429 year over year.
