US offshore rig count holds at 31

HOUSTON The US offshore rig count has remained steady at 31 reports Baker Hughes in its Weekly Rig Count. The total also is 31 rigs down from the prior year.

Total US rig count is down by six at 842 rigs compared to 1,931 rigs at this time a year ago.

Canada’s rig count is down three from the past week’s 182. This is down 195 rigs from last year.
