Schneider wins power distribution contracts for Johan Sverdrup

RUEIL MALMAISON, France – Schneider Electric Norway has won two contracts with a combined value of €11 million ($12.3 million) for work related to power distribution at Johan Sverdrup.

The first order is for medium voltage switchgears, including protection relays and energy management and control system. The second includes the supply of 55 MVA oil insulated power transformers and several dry distribution transformers.

The work for Statoil is being done in collaboration with Aker Solutions, Aibel, Kværner, and KBR.
