Offshore staff

ABERDEEN, UK – RCP has a contract to supply and install a BOP system from an unnamed Scandinavian drilling contractor.

The BOP will be installed on a new drillship operating offshore Southeast Asia. RCP engineers in Singapore and Aberdeen have been given six weeks to design and build the CE-approved system, due to be delivered by end-September.

The system will include adaptable touch screen HMI panels to enhance operational efficiency and fiber-optic cables to save space and reduce installation costs.
