Offshore staff

LONDON – Rockhopper Exploration (AIM: RKH) says the Eni-operated side track well at the Guendalina gas field offshore eastern Italy has reached TD of 3,276 m (10,748 ft) MD, on schedule and within budget.

Wireline logging confirmed all target levels are gas bearing, and these were encountered slightly higher to prognosis in an up-dip position with an additional deeper gas level.

The well is being completed as a gas producer with production likely to start in late October.
