ABERDEEN, UK – Jee Ltd. is offering delegates of SPE Offshore Europe 2015 free technical subsea workshops over the course of the four-day event.
Jee’s Head of Integrity Management Grant Adam, and Head of Pigging Paul Otway will lead the training workshops at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre from the Sept. 8-11, focusing specifically on pipeline spans and flexibles.
According to Adam, “Ineffective integrity management has the potential to be extremely costly and damaging to both the asset and environment. Teaching young engineers about industry issues is essential to ensure this is mitigated.
“Unsupported sections of pipelines known as spans are common with an uneven seabed, and have the potential to cause serious issues if they are not efficiently assessed and managed.”
Jenny Matthew, head of Training, will also be presenting a free workshop on cost-effective training solutions for the industry. Exploring the constraints and challenges learning managers are facing during the industry downturn, she will discuss a variety of ways the company can help, such as its on demand learning and blended learning solutions.
The company will also be holding a free workshop on the final day of the show for students and graduates, offering an introduction to flexibles. The workshop will explain the different types and uses of flexibles, riser configurations, and the application of flexibles.
Jee is exhibiting at stand 3E201.
