Norway gets drilling permit requests from 43 companies

OSLO, Norway Norway's annual license award round for drilling permits in “mature” areas of its continental shelf has drawn 43 company requests.

The Reuters report said the Oil and Energy Ministry of Norway noted that the request total was down from 47 the prior year.

The allocation of resources by the government is scheduled for determination early in 2016.
