Viking Neptun receives subsea charter offshore Ghana

OSLO, Norway – Eidesvik Offshore has secured a charter for its M/V Viking Neptun to support the subsea component of the Tullow-operated TEN deepwater development offshore Ghana.

The contract, due to start later this fall, could last up to 100 days.

Viking Neptun is a newbuild vessel that was delivered to Eidesvik in February. It is 145 m (476 ft) long and 31 m (102 ft) wide and equipped with a 400-ton crane.

It has been operating for Technip since delivery.
