Exmar reports Colombia FLNG vessel construction on schedule

ANTWERP, BelgiumExmar says pre-commissioning of the newbuild Caribbean FLNG (floating LNG) vessel, destined to serve offshore Colombia, is proceeding as planned, with delivery anticipated in 1Q 2016.

The contractor will receive first daily payments from client Pacific Rubiales Energy following delivery.

Exmar adds that its accommodation barges Nunce and Wariboko continue operating offshore Angola and Nigeria, respectively.

The West Africa accommodation sector remains healthy, with another of the company’s barges – Kissama – set to be employed well before the end of 2015.
