BP extends global upstream automation contract with Yokogawa

AMERSFOORT, the Netherlands
BP has renewed a global agreement with Yokogawa Electric to supply main automation contractor services to BP’s upstream operations.

The Yokogawa products and services covered by this global agreement include the CENTUM VP integrated production control system, ProSafe-RS safety instrumented system, STARDOM network-based control system, Plant Resource Manager asset management package, FAST/TOOLS SCADA software, Exaseries productivity software, field wireless and other types of field instruments, analyzers, project management and system integration engineering services, and operation and maintenance services.

BP first signed such an agreement with Yokogawa in 2007.
