Inchcape to support offshore Tanzania well campaign

HOUSTONParagon Offshore has appointed Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) as marine and logistic services provider for an upcoming drilling campaign offshore the Songo Songo Islands, Tanzania.

ISS is providing a range of services including full husbandry, crew logistics, visa assistance, and arranging of marine and air charters.

Paragon is deploying the jackup M826 for the nine-month campaign for operator PanAfrican Energy Tanzania. The rig was delivered to the field by the semisubmersible vessel OHT Falcon, and has been secured to the drilling location.

It will work over various producing wells to enhance output and drill new wells on the same field.
