Baker Hughes’ offshore rig count continues upward trend

HOUSTON Baker Hughes Inc.’s rig count finds an increase of four units working offshore. That brings the total to 38, which is 24 fewer than the year before.

The total US rig count also increased, adding 10 units from last week to total 1,024 versus 1,908 at this time a year ago.

Baker Hughes’ Canadian count is down seven rigs to 208, 179 rigs fewer than a year ago.
