Luda oil project starts up offshore China

HONG KONG – CNOOC has started production from the Luda 10-1 comprehensive adjustment project.

The Luda 10-1 oil field is in the Liaodong Bay in China’s Bohai region, in an average water depth of around 30 m (98 ft).

Development involved adding a new wellhead platform.

Currently 13 wells are producing around 3,300 b/d of crude, with peak output of 6,000 b/d expected next year.
