UKOG granted more time for offshore southern England drilling preparations

LONDON – Britain’s government has extended the initial exploration phase of offshore Isle of Wight license P1916 to Jan. 31, 2017.

According to operator UK Oil and Gas Investments, the extension will provide the time needed to finalize drilling plans and obtain regulatory permissions for a well on the M prospect.
