LONDON – The ENSCO 100 jackup has departed from a shipyard in Dundee, eastern Scotland, and is on its way to the location of the Niobe prospect in UK North Sea license P.1889.

According to partner Trapoil (AIM: TRAP), the rig will soon spud the exploration well for operator Suncor Energy.

Operations should last around 31 days if the result is a dry hole.
