STRAUME, Norway AGR has added new functions to its iQx well data software. The new GEO module targets geologists and petroleum engineers by expanding the existing Offset and Experience modules for drillers.

AGR says iQx captures numerical values and that the online database enables data integration with the third-party interpretation software, and generates immediate graphic dashboards of key reservoir characteristics.

“iQx represents an innovative database which can be utilized from exploration through to well delivery and production,” said AGR VP Software Solutions Petter Mathisen. “The uniqueness of the product lies in its multi-disciplinary functionality where different types of data are standardized and exportable in short periods of time. iQx is also a tool for processing great amounts of geological and operational data in a mergers and acquisitions scenario.”
