UPDATE: PEMEX fire death total now four

CIUDAD DEL CARMEN, Mexico – In updated information from several news sources, four workers were killed and 16 others injured in PEMEX’s Abkatun platform fire. Those reports are not confirmed by PEMEX yet.

Also, the reports from Reuters, Bloomberg, and others say 10 vessels are on location fighting the fire in the Bay of Campeche.

No cause of the fire has been determined, nor are there reports of hydrocarbons in the water.
