Organizers cancel ONS Norway

Offshore staff

STAVANGER, Norway - The ONS Foundation has canceled ONS Norway, scheduled for Aug. 17-19, 2015, due to low registration numbers.

Although registration was strong earlier in the year, low oil prices, low activity, and uncertainty in the industry have meant that too few exhibitors have registered, the event’s organizers said, noting that there had also been a number of recent cancellations.

Exhibitors and other parties involved have been informed of the cancellation, with registration and stand fees to be refunded to the registered exhibitors. They will also be offered space at ONS 2016, which is currently still being planned.

“For ONS 2016, we see no lack of interest at the present stage,” CEO Leif Johan Sevland said.
