Offshore staff

MILAN, Italy – Eni has started production from the Cinguvu oil field offshore Angola two weeks ahead of schedule.

The West Hub Development Project in deepwater block 15/06 now produces about 60,000 b/d of oil from the Cinguvu, and Sangos fields. The wells are arranged in clusters and connected to the FPSO N’Goma, which has a treatment capacity of 100,000 b/d of oil.

The complete project also covers Mpungi, Mpungi North, and Vandumbu fields. Water depths range from 1,000 m to 1,500 m (3,281 ft to 4,921 ft).

Eni is continuing its exploration program in block 15/06, too.
