North Sea CATS trunkline restrictions to continue

Offshore staff

STAVANGER, Norway – Noreco says normal operations of the UK North Sea’s CATS gas transport system will not resume until the end of February at the earliest.

As a result, oil and gas production at the E.ON-operated Huntington field continues at restricted rates.

The restrictions were imposed following an incident on the CATS riser platform during a re-start of operations in mid-December.
