These comprise of pipeline termination structures (PTSs), subsea isolation valve structures, tee protection structures (TPSs), and drill center manifolds – the latter, weighing up to 564 tons, will be installed in a maximum water depth of 240 m (787 ft).
Jumbo will deploy the DP-2 heavy-lift vessel Fairplayer for the work, probably from April/May 2015 onward. The vessel is equipped with two 900-ton revolving deepwater cranes.
Wheatstone is being developed via a subsea gas gathering system tied back to a recently installed platform. Gas will be exported from the platform to an onshore LNG complex through a dedicated trunkline. First gas production/LNG start-up is due next year.
