Hakuryu 11 jackup mobilizes to Gobi-1 well

PERTH, Australia – Nido Petroleum Ltd. announced that the Hakuryu 11 jackup has mobilized to the Gobi-1 well location, offshore Republic of Indonesia.

Drilling is expected to commence in mid-October. The well, located in the Gurita Block in the Natuna Sea, was originally planned to be drilled in late September. The block covers an area of approximately 3,096 sq mi (28,018 sq km). The Gobi prospect is estimated to hold gross unrisked prospective resources of 25 MMboe.

Nido has a 10% working interest in the Gurita PSC.
