Swiber wins EPIC contract in Latin America

SINGAPORE Swiber Holdings Ltd has clinched an engineering, procurement, installation, and construction (EPIC) contract in Latin America for subsea development work including pipeline tie-ins, with an aggregate value of $80 million.

The project will begin immediately and is expected to be completed in 2015.

Earlier in February, the Group also won contracts valued at $235 million. In aggregate, Swiber’s contract wins year-to-date rises to $315 million. Last year, the company completed the construction of a 77-km-long (48-mi-long) submarine duct for PEMEX.
