KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – SapuraKencana Petroleum has won two contracts to supply multiple platforms for projects offshore Southeast Asia. Total value is around $415 million.

Carigali-PTTEPI Operating Co. has commissioned four wellhead platforms and associated subsea pipelines for the block N-17 and B-17-01 field Phase 3 project in the Thailand-Malaysia Joint Development Area (JDA).

Work starts this month and is expected to be completed in September 2017.

Hess Exploration has contracted three wellhead platforms for a project in the North Malay basin, due to be delivered and installed by 3Q 2016.

SapuraKencana also landed three offshore drilling contracts this week with a total value about $700 million.

The company’s subsidiary Petcon (Malaysia) will supply two tender-assist rigs, SKD T-9 and SKD-T-10, for Petronas Carigali’s development drilling campaigns offshore Malaysia.

SKD T-9’s contract runs for five years from July 2014-June 2019. SKD-T-10’s three-year contract starts in August, with options for an additional two years.

Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production has booked SapuraKencana Drilling Asia’s tender-assist rig SKD T-18 for a five-year offshore development campaign in Thailand, starting this month.
