TEHRAN, Iran – The fourth jacket of the South Pars Phase 13 development in the Persian Gulf is expected to be installed by late July.

Iran Marine Industrial Co. is building four platforms for Phase 13.

Project director Mohammad Ali Qayyem told Iranian news service Shana that construction of the associated subsea pipelines is nearly two-thirds complete, and the first train of the Phase 13 refinery should be launched by the end of March 2015.

Phase 13 is expected to deliver 50 MMcm/d (1.77 bcf/d) of gas and 80,000 b/d of gas condensate.

Pre-commissioning of the Phase 18 platform is nearly complete and the facility should enter service before the winter season. Industrial Development and Renovation Organization (IDRO), Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Co. (IOEC), OIEC, and Iran Marine Industrial Co. are developing phases 17 and 18.
